Roz is a former racehorse that was re-trained as a trail and lesson horse. She's an excellent horse for a beginning rider needing to build confidence. She's great in the arena or out on a trail. She's gentle and safe with anyone, whether they're children or adults.
She has had two foals, both colts, bred by Obsidian Moon Ranch. Unfortunately, the first colt, sired by TD Magic Eclipse, died of pneumonia at four months old. Happily, her second foal, sired by Must Bey Dreamin, is healthy and now living successfully in his new home. Her colt, Remiel Bey OMR, born June 2008, placed in the Top Ten SHIH at Sporthorse Nationals in 2010.
Roz is a right-brain introvert and is mostly retired. I still take her out to some play days and occasional trail rides, and also progress through my Parelli tasks with her, but, otherwise, she leads a fairly quiet life, happily bossing around the other horses.
Roz is for sale to a good home. Payments accepted. May also consider temporary care lease to a natural horsemanship home. Will consider trade for wide width dressage saddle and/or horse-quality hay. Suitable for trail and endurance.
