Isabella is Obsidian Moon Ranch's first Friesian foal! Wietske is a great mom. Bella was born a few challenges, but has recovered well from them all and is growing into quite a beautiful filly. She has a very quiet, affectionate nature.

Continuing the mare line, Abke's mother was Ybeltsja (Ster), Lize (Model), Nikkel (Model), Baukje (Model) and Marianne (Model Preferent).
Isabella loves to run and play, exhibiting the beautiful high-stepping Friesian trot. She also loves to climb to the top of a small hill located in the pasture. She's gotten huge, only a couple inches smaller than our two young Arabians that are more than a year older than her. Exhibiting the makings of a good trail horse, Isabella loves to explore high grass and brush and climb hills or steep ditches on our hikes through the countryside.
Bella is from Stam 50, the top producing Friesian Stam. She is solid black and has very long legs. I anticipate her to mature to over 16 hands tall.
