Zoraja

Zoraja (zo-rye-uh) is from Stam 78. She is very pleasant to have around - easy going and a wonderful mom. Zoraja is in excellent condition for her age, completely sound and full of energy. Other than the grey hairs around her eyes, you'd never guess her true age by looking at her.

To date, she has had 8 foals:

• Riko, a gelding born in 1997, sired by Tjimme 275
• Victor, a gelding born in 1998, sired by Tjimme 275
• Alyt P., a Ster mare born in 2000, sired by Tsjerk 328 Pref
• Froukje Zoraja, a mare born in 2001, sired by Nanning 374
• Hedi, a Ster mare born in 2002, sired by Nanning 374
• Lex, a colt born in 2003, sired by Tsjerk 328 Pref
• Axel of Tamarack Ranch, a gelding born in 2008, sired by Maiko 373
• Jasper fan O.M.R., a colt born in 2011, sired by Sipke 450

Zoraja has proven herself to be a very patient and kind mother, very devoted and protective of her foal. She is an easy keeper and gentle to handle.

Obsidian Moon Ranch imported Zoraja from BC, Canada on June 18, 2010. Zoraja is primarily a LBI (Left-Brain Introvert) horsenality, although tends to go RBE (Right-Brain Extrovert) in new environments. Since bringing Zoraja home, I've had the pleasure of taking her to a Level 2 Parelli clinic with 3* instructor, Marc Rea, and several pleasure rides.
